Rick Warren Finally Figures Out That Uganda's "Kill The Gays" Bill is "Un-Christian"

Rick Warren, arrogant shit, pastor of Brokeback Saddleback Church, and author of "A Purpose Driven Life" (the book that's convinced millions of readers that he knows exactly — exactly — what God thinks, needs and desires), has finally condemned the proposed Ugandan law that would make it legal to sentence gay people to death.

The despicable nature of the proposed legislation (known affectionately all over the world as the "Kill the Gays" bill) eluded Warren until late yesterday, when he made a video in which he addresses Ugandan pastors and admits the bill is "unjust" and "un-Christian."

Unless you're a complete idiot, you'll agree that it's more than just a little suspicious that it took Warren, a man who's gotten rich on the back of the notion that he's got a direct line to Christ, over a week to figure out that the law is "un-Christian." Shouldn't a guy who is that in touch with God know, oh, I don't know, right off the bat that a bill called "Kill the Gays" lacks a divine or general Jesus-y tone?

Of course.

So, screw you, Rick Warren. Screw your video. And screw your bag of "Purpose Driven" drivel. You know no more about God or Jesus than the cat that's watching me type this.

What you do know is how to manipulate desperate people, feed off their troubles and their fears, and suck them dry of what little rationale they might have, all so you don't have to face the fact that nine out of ten dentists recommend Crest think you're gay.

Pathetic.
