Because I spend the majority of my time in the corporate world, where I behave appropriately at all times, I created this blog so that I can behave inappropriately, make up words, swear a lot and, overall, vent on any number of topics.
By day, I am a professional freelance writer, communications specialist and social media manager. The rest of the time I'm a humorist, a wannabe lush and a liberal, and I express those aspects of my personality through this blog and a small business I started in 2010, Corktease Wine Country Gear.
I used my status as a smarty-pants and Top 100 Influencer within the wine community of Twitter to create Corktease WCG from the bottom up, based on my popular Twitter persona, of the same name. I created this blog in my underwear and from my bed, with a cat curled up on my feet.
